ConnectiCare Partners With NBA Star Andre Drummond To Provide Supplies For Children Heading Back To School

As part of the Fresh Start Festival, ConnectiCare donated 300 backpacks to attending children

FARMINGTON, Conn., August 27, 2025 – On Saturday, August 23, ConnectiCare partnered with Philadelphia 76ers center Andre Drummond to provide essential back-to-school items for children in need at his Fresh Start Festival. ConnectiCare provided 300 backpacks to children in attendance who also received a variety of school supplies. The event, held at Zion First Baptist Church in Middletown, also offered, food, ice cream, games, prizes, raffles, music, and other activities.
